Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The Happy New Year actor is likely to be discharged tomorrow
Those who have seen Shah Rukh Khan in the recent past, have noticed his slight limp. Despite his severe limp, the actor was sweet enough to grace the recent bash hosted by Deepika Padukone.
The Happy New Year actor had been suffering from repeated pain and swelling of left knee over the last few months.
He finally underwent arthroscopic surgery today at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
SRK is on the road to recovery. Since he has been advised complete bed rest for 3-4 days, he will take a break from work post his discharge. He has also been advised to not strain himself for the next 2 weeks. As a result, the actor will not shoot for any dance or action sequences for sometime now.
Dr Sanjay Desai, who operated on SRK, said, “His surgery was to correct the repeated injuries over the last few years. Based on today’s arthroscopic evaluation, future management will be planned. He is likely to be discharged tomorrow.”
This is his second knee surgery the actor had hurt his knee on the sets of Koyla in 1997 and had to be operated upon.
